Original Painting Title: Skull Patch. The pile of buffalo skulls is reminiscent of the buffalo hunts of long ago. Hunted nearly to extinction - as we all know. We visited the C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, MT where they had a small pile in a glass case. I photographed them as a basis for the painting. Created as a Watercolor painting.
Measures 22"h x 25"w. It is UV Archival Varnish Sealed and required no glass. It is in a thick western themed frame.
