Georgia O'Keefe's mountain. She always said that if she painted it enough, God would give it to her. I had the opportunity to paint it en plein air at the end of our trip to Ghost Ranch and Abiquiu, NM. The flat mesa top is easy to spot on the skyline. I set up in the rest area/ picnic area along the highway. The view from there framed up nicely for a painting.
